Rain-avoidance navigation
RainVoid reads the radar for you and plans the dry way through — before you leave, and every two minutes after. Built for motorcycles. Works for anything with wheels.
On Android. Live radar and RainVoid Futurecast across the United States; routing and stops everywhere.
Commanding confidence rating on RainVoid FutureCast keeping you dry.
Proven on 293,295 simulated rides through real, archived NOAA storms, Oct 2025–Oct 2026 — the testing that tunes RainVoid FutureCast.
When the current FutureCast engine called a ride dry, it stayed dry on 5,350 of 5,403 simulated rides — with the rain tolerance set to Drizzle OK, judged against the radar that actually followed. Results as of October 22, 2026; actual results vary.
RainVoid FutureCast vouches for your road only as far ahead as it is confident of where the rain cells will be; beyond that it says “possible”, from the tracked drift of the cells and a safety margin measured on simulated rides through real, archived storms.
What it does

RainVoid Futurecast tracks every cell from the radar itself and projects it to the minute you arrive — direction and speed named on your plan. Where it will be, not where it was.

Every new radar frame re-scores the road ahead. Nearest cover, a dry route, or turn back — one card, your call.

Three ways around the rain, each priced in minutes — and a gold ★ BEST CALL on the one RainVoid would take, with the reason: judged by the minutes each costs and by what would happen to riders on roads like yours.

The compass scans every direction and names the nearest town under each cell. Bored? Roulette picks a restaurant or attraction you haven't been to, within the hour.

One tap plans the nearest station. The stops fan finds you a dry ride to the next coffee, meal or cone.

Save Home and Work once. Two chips under the search card carry the call on every radar generation: dry · 47 min, or leave in ~20 min to stay dry, or leave by 8:10 to stay dry. A home-screen widget shows the same scan, refreshed every 15 minutes. When you arrive, say when you are heading back and to where. Watch it, and RainVoid arms the same watch that Wait it out uses on the road back: a heads-up so you have time to get going, the all-clear when the whole road is dry, a notice if it changes.

When RainVoid rerouted you or held you at the door, the arrival card becomes a receipt: what the direct road would have given you, measured on the radar at the minutes you would have been there, beside what you actually rode. Your season adds it up: rides watched, rides kept dry, wet minutes avoided, the biggest save. Share either as a picture; your location never leaves the phone. Shown: an example receipt.

Rate a stop, add the overhang you sheltered under, confirm each other's. The verified ones feed everyone's shelter plans.

Every cell tracked from the radar itself and projected to the minute you arrive, forecast only inside a high-confidence window proven against real storms. The cells that matter are named with their direction and speed. When the direct road runs through one, the way around is drawn on the picture and priced in minutes.

Three ways around the rain, each priced in minutes — a covered stop you reach before it, a dry way around it, or the minute the road clears with a notification when it does. The gold ★ BEST CALL marks the one RainVoid would take, and its line says why: the minutes each costs, and what would happen to riders on roads like yours.

Four chips decide what counts as rain for you. The app still says what's on the road, even when it's within your settings.

Sometimes a storm moves faster than radar can predict, and rain shows up on your road mid-ride. When that happens and a dry road fits your detour limit, RainVoid switches you to it, tells you out loud, and shows a green bar with the extra minutes. Tap Keep my road to go back to your original road. Tap Got it to accept the detour. It is on from your first ride. If no dry road exists, the Weather changed card offers the nearest cover, a dry route when one appears, or a turn back. Prefer to decide every time yourself? One switch in Settings turns it off.
From the builder
RainVoid was built by a mechanical engineer and military pilot who got tired of guessing at the sky from a motorcycle seat. Pilots read the radar, time the cells and pick their window. RainVoid brings that discipline to the road.
